Andrew Dowie is a Partner and a senior solicitor. His work includes Family Law matters and Wills and Probate. He also has extensive experience of advising in respect of settlement agreements.

Andrew represents clients at all levels in the court system including Family Proceeding Courts, County Courts and the High Court.
Within the Family Department Andrew specialises in resolving financial disputes and settlements following separation or divorce / dissolution of civil partnerships. He has assisted numerous professional clients with complex financial dispute involving substantial assets arising from marital or other relationship breakdown. He also regularly drafts pre-nuptial and separation agreements.
Andrew also has extensive experience of advising clients in relation to settlement agreements whether as part of proposed redundancies, or in respect of their terms of employment. Andrew can also advise on and draft settlement agreements for employers.
Andrew advises clients who are looking to make a will. Andrew acts for probate clients in assisting with the administration of both high and low value estates. He has acted as executor, for executors, and where there are no valid executors, as well as where the deceased has died intestate (i.e. without leaving a valid will). He also assists clients wishing to apply for Lasting Powers of Attorney.
