Kate is a solicitor within the Criminal Department. She joined the firm in August 2009 having previously worked for other major criminal law firms in London. Kate has experience working for the Police Federation in matters of criminal investigation and professional misconduct.
Kate has been practising Criminal Law since 2006 and is an accredited Duty Solicitor, regularly attending the Police Station and Magistrates' Court to represent her clients. She manages defence cases of all levels and works on matters at the Crown Court and on Appeals.
She has defended Clients in all areas of Crime including violent offences, offences of dishonesty, theft, sexual offences, road traffic offences and harassment amongst others. She also has experience in matters of prison law, parole, mental health and judicial review.
